1. What have you learned during the last 5 months of working with Amanda/having a nutrition coach? I have learned more about food and how to determine portion sizes for myself while still getting the right amount of nutrients and calories.
2. Is there something specific that was most helpful for you on this journey? I think that the MyCoach app really helped solidify healthy habits and now I am consistently meeting the daily goals that were set without having to think about them.
3. Do you have any advice you would share with someone wanting to start working on their nutrition or interested in having nutrition coaching? My advice would be to go for it! Food is such a fascinating topic and figuring out what works for your body and what doesn’t is invaluable. Your gut microbiome has a direct correlation in cognitive function, hence most people often feel foggy after eating a lot of processed junk food for extended periods of time.
4. What are you most happy with in terms of your results/progress during this time? I am most happy with how much my overall fitness and mental clarity has increased since beginning this process.
